A BAND
OF TIME
A SPAN
OF TIME
This may seem like an unusual weapon of warfare, but I do believe it is essential for the times
we are living in now. As I was prepared to meet with our Lord this morning, Bible in hand, and
desiring to hear from Him, I sensed something like a band of time resting between Him and me. A
time of space…nothingness. Not good…not bad, just an empty space of time.
As
I waited, this scripture and song began running through my mind.
♫ Those
who wait upon the Lord
Shall
renew their strength.
They
shall mount up with wings as eagles.
They
shall run and not be weary,
They
shall walk and not faint….
Teach
me, Lord.
Teach
me, Lord….to WAIT.♫ (Isaiah 40:29-31)
Waiting
for the Presence
Of
The
Lord
In
these end-times, as our Lord prepares His Bride, (us), the Holy Spirit continues to teach us things
we need to know.
“Tell
them I’m Coming! They must WAIT for Me and not give up!”
ATTACKS
One
of the attacks of the enemy at this time is to bring physical or mental attacks on you to draw your
attention away from God, His Word, and His Promises.
You
may awake in the morning with every joint in your body crying out in pain…but you get up and
keep on walking. You may notice that your friends you counted on, are no longer available and
you don’t know why…so you pray for them in the Spirit. Tragedies are occurring
all over the world and it’s hard for you to fathom as you abide in a safe place under the shadow
of the Almighty, as you read in Psalms 91:1.
BAND OF TIME
This Band
of Time, when you first awake in the morning on your way to prayer and hearing from our Lord…especially
when you’ve been called to intercede for others, requires the weapon of Isaiah 40: 29-31.
“He
giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength. Even
the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that WAIT
upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall
run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
The
thought came to me about how God created our bodies so that they actually restore themselves to some
degree. Like when you cut your finger and it begins to heal itself. So there are times
we need to speak to our bodies and remind them of this built-in process and act in faith as though
God is restoring even our physical bodies through this process. There is nothing that He has
not thought of or provided for His children.
As
you quote this verse or sing this song, over and over…because “Faith cometh by hearing
and hearing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17), you will recognize the peaceful presence of
the Lord, as He steps OVER THE BAND OF TIME; that band of nothingness…and restores your strength,
both spiritual and physical.

Now,
you can pray with assurance. When that short Band of Time arises for you, please be prepared
to WAIT patiently for the Holy Spirit to step across it and make His presence known to you. Just
Wait! Your natural mind may have been going in a direction of it’s own choosing, and the
Lord wants to gently guide you in a better direction. Just WAIT for HIM.
WAIT
FOR THE PRESENCE
OF
THE LORD
“But if we hope for that we see not,
then do we with patience WAIT for it.” (Romans 8:25).
“I WAITED patiently for the
Lord: and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry.” (Psalms 40:1).
“WAIT on the Lord: be of
good courage, and HE shall strengthen thine heart: WAIT, I say, on the Lord.” (Psalms
27:14).
Soon,
you will feel His Presence all around you and in you. Then, you will know where to go and what
to do today. You will also be reminded to pray in the Spirit for people, places, and things
that are above your natural understanding.
Oh,
how I would encourage “seekers” to look up the scriptures in your concordance today that
relate to the word….”WAIT”. If you do, then I know that you and I will be “On
the Same Page” today. And that is a great place to be.
