Ears To Hear # 8

LOVE
BEYOND
DEFINITION!

“Good Morning Father. Good Morning Jesus.
Good Morning Holy Spirit.”

“Who’s going to go first?”, I asked the Holy Spirit as I met with Him this morning. “I guess one of us should say something. Ha.”
“Why?”, He laughed. “Can’t we just be together without talking, impressing, studying, exhorting, learning? Is knowledge so important to you that you think it impresses Me and will make Me love you more?”
         “Love grows, Lord?” I asked.
“That’s one reason My love continues to grow for you Gwen. You are so full of questions like so many of My children who seek to know Me better.
“It’s okay. I delight in your questions. Just remember, there are some things you don’t need to know. Trust Me, that sometimes I must even shield you from the truth…. Not the truth of Me, My love, My ways, but from knowing what others have said about you, the times they have laughed and made fun of you. It would hurt too much. I don’t want you to hurt. Okay?”
“Lord, I’ve done the same to others.”
“I know. Did you ask forgiveness?”
         “Yes, Lord.”
“Then you don’t need to know all the reasons you did what you did or they do what they do or did.

“Hey Gwen”…(that’s the way my dear little friend June greets me when she calls on the phone…. Now I could hear our Lord sounding just like her.) Anyway, He continued…. “Hey Gwen,…Did you notice I just created a new day for you out of Nothing?
“Yes, I know, it’s been taught that I spoke the world into existence, that is true. But, not the total truth. I continue to create something new each day.”
“I chuckle when I see My children trying to gain all the wisdom of Father God and My world. If they think wisdom and knowledge will totally satisfy them, they are wrong. Wisdom is sweet to the soul…but it always craves more and is never satisfied.
“Perhaps when you get tired of trying to collect enough wisdom, knowledge, gifts of the Spirit you can accept that you, as an individual, will never have it all. Not in the natural…but in the Spirit you already have all you need..
“As Christ abides in you, His Truth is always available. So are wisdom and knowledge.  God’s Holy Spirit will bring them forth as needed for this your new day. He will create it out of what seems like nothing. All My seeds (I John 3:9) of knowledge and wisdom abide in you and are useful for correction, direction, and exhortation.” ( 2Ti 3:16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:)

GOD  LAUGHING

I began to picture God laughing at all His children. Laughing the Laughter of Love.
And for today, I understood that LOVE IS EASY.
I never saw myself as a good student in school…especially in math. And it didn’t seem to matter how hard I tried, I just couldn’t “get it.”
But “Love”; that was easy. Love never really has to be explained. It’s just there. Love doesn’t have to be taught: it’s just there.
Oh, we can place natural definitions on the word “love”…but to do so, just takes some worth from it’s meaning.
So, today, let’s remember I Corinthians 13 and especially verse 8 where it says that knowledge, among other things will vanish away. I don’t think it has yet, but it will. And all that remains is LOVE.
Why? Because we have come full-circle and God is still LOVE.

CLEAN OUT LOCKERS

Do you remember the end of the school year when students were emptying out their lockers? This could be quite an ordeal if the principals and teachers weren’t prepared.
My…my…I was such a good girl and dedicated teacher. I think it caused me to miss out on a really extravagant act of freedom.
I’d like to return to my locker and try it again. If I could, I’d like to be one of those students who opened the metal doors of their lockers…letting them clang wide open. I would empty all those old math books, and notebooks, all over the floor of the hall by my locker just like the other kids were doing.
It was the tradition of the adults to control the students. But the tradition of the students was simply to be free of the past and to celebrate the future.
Yes. Wouldn’t that be fun…to do what the other students were doing? Especially the boys, I noticed.
         A Celebration of Freedom.
         Leaving the Past Behind.
So, no matter how much we study and learn, someday it will all be gone. But God is so gracious to give us a simple assignment that can never really be explained to the full in books.
It is an assignment that anyone can follow easily because it is the language of God’s heart…and everyone knows what LOVE is, although no one can put it in words.
So, today, I pray that you let go of all your learning and simply walk in the perfect love that you have in your own heart. The Love that God understands because He placed it there. God is Love and His seed remains in you.
WALK FREE TODAY…in the LOVE…that is beyond definition.

It’s just there…so enjoy…and SMILE
