As Charles Capps says, God’s children are saying what they have, instead of Having what they say.  Remind us, oh Lord, to speak Your words of Faith today.  Help us to Practice the Positive Power of Faith in Your Word today.

          This little card was drawn June 28, 1984 when we were holding aerobics classes in Sabinal at the Born Again Barn.  Today, we still need to be reminded about the Power of Words for good or evil.
          If Jesus were to come to us personally today and say, from this day forward it will come to pass, that everything you say will happen exactly as you say it; would that change our vocabulary?   Whew!  It certainly would make me sit up and take notice.
          The prayer we prayed then, still seems relevant today. 
          “Dear Lord, give me the wisdom to eat a timely meal and speak a timely word of kindness.  Help me to worship the Giver more than the gift.  By Your constant presence, may I remain AWARE of my ability to choose my use of Your gifts of food and words.  I believe You set a watch before my mouth and will help me keep the door of my lips.  Thank You Lord.  Amen.”
