The young housewife and mother is particularly vulnerable to this attack from Satan. Recognize it for what it is. The old saying of "haste makes waste" can certainly be applied here. In this form of hurriedness Satan is able to rob you of your health. sense of humor, joy and yes, even accomplishment. The most important objects in this room are you and your family. Let's not become slaves to things. If you are expecting "important(?)" company just stop and remember that if you don't have to impress God, who is the Highest, why are you killing yourself and sacrificing your family to impress humans? Tell Satan that you rebuke him and his spirit of hurriedness. Take a deep breath and ask the Holy Spirit to lead you the rest of the day. You will be pleasantly surprised as all things will fall into place as you put Him first. He is a gentle leader. He wants you to have PEACE and JOY.
